CDPP Strategy
TAI implements a community-driven prevention program with the guiding principle of making the community understand the burden of the disease, take responsibility for prevention and take control of their lives. This community Driven Prevention Program (CDPP) is the foundation of TAI's intervention with sex Workers.

The approach fosters sex worker ownership of the program and empowers them to take control over their lives and gain the right to better health. It is the process of consulting with the sex worker and creating a space for them, given them a role in decision making and management of the project, and building capacity to accomplish these.
